Creative Development

Developing children´s creative thinking is an important part of our work at Colleges Nursery School, as we believe it encourages their independence and ability to make connections in their learning.

To this end we offer a wide range of creative activities throughout the year, from free access to art and collage materials for picture making and modelling, to longer term projects where children explore ligt, dark and colour.

We are lucky to have regular contact with a practising artist, Sally Brown, who has worked on long-term projects on clay, story-telling and den-building with the children, and has supported Nursery staff in developing their own projects.
